About the Daughters of Penelope
Originally founded with 25 members on November 16, 1929 in San Francisco, California today the Daughters of Penelope is one of the largest women's organizations in the world.
With chapters in the United States, Canada, Australia, Greece, England, France, Germany, and Belgium the Daughters of Penelope is a global leader in philanthropic, educational, and civic activities through community service and volunteerism.

The Mission of the Daughters of Penelope is to promote Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, Family and Individual Excellence.
District Six
Representing the Daughters of Penelope of New York State the Empire State District Six has a long history of supporting women, promoting Hellenism, and philanthropy.
